Weirdness From the Files at P.O.F. Central |
|
Since
we've gone online here at P.O.F. central, from time to
time we get some really interesting e-mail.
Here's a taste of some of the most intriguing communications we've received. |

The
following is a series of photos sent by a Professor Mikhail B. Rovarzsky
of Chicago.
He was showing the pictures to his nephew, who recognized the image from Kenny's bass drum head. Mr. Rovarzsky explained that he found these photos years ago while working for the military. |

He
was stationed overseas where, as he explains "it's not as easy
for the U.S. government to suppress these sorts of ...photos." He offers little explanation other than to say they are a part of his private collection. |

This
photograph was sent in by someone who identifies themselves only as Tom.
This picture was taken while on a business trip by his father, Tom says, for Johnson Controls. One of the many perks involved tickets to the summer olympics in Atlanta. Apparently, the seats weren't so hot for the athletic events, but yielded at least one interesting photo. The object (?) appeared for only a few seconds. Tom says his father remembers little else of the incident, as another of the perks of the trip enabled the travelers to eat and drink for free. |

Here's
a photo submitted by an amateur pilot. He explains that he never saw the
object that made the shadow, but when it passed over head, the plane's
radio went dead.
The pilot insists there was "not a cloud in the sky" at the time this photo was taken, and he was lucky to get the picture at all, considering the great speed with which the object moved. |

Now things are really getting weird!

We
don't know what to say about this one.
Upon
seeing the photos, another visitor has sent in this photo of an unexplained
crop circle formation. |
